Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ jacket is probably one of the most famous jackets in history. The Thriller music video has found it’s way onto millions of TVs and computer screens. With about 90 million views on just one of the many Thriller music videos posted on Youtube, it’s one of the most popular music videos ever.

The jacket was sold for $1.8 million in Los Angeles this past Saturday. The man who bought Michael Jackson’s Thriller jacket is named Milton Verret. From Texas, he is a gold trader who intends on using the Thriller Jacket to help raise money for Children’s hospitals around the world.

Michael Would Probably be Happy with his Jacket’s sale

I’m sure Michael Jackson would be happy that his jacket is going toward raising money for sick kids around the world. The jacket is autographed by Michael, but it is one of only two of it’s kind. The other Thriller Jacket worn in the Thriller Music Video one is still owned by the Jackson estate.
